How Settlement and Fees Work

On the Runmoa (Schoolmoa) platform, you can generate revenue through digital content sales, shopping sales, and offline events.
Once settlement becomes available, the request button is enabled. After you submit the request, payment is sent to your registered settlement account within 5 business days starting from the next day.
Settlement Request
1. Payout Timing After Request
After your settlement request is completed, payout is processed to your registered account within 5 business days starting the next day.
2. Fees
- Tangible products: 0% service fee (no deduction)
- Intangible products: 3% to 5% service fee (deducted before settlement)
The following items are deducted separately.
- PG fee: 3.5%
- Overseas payment (PayPal) fees
- Base fee: 4%
- Fixed fee: $0.30 per transaction
- Currency conversion/withdrawal fee: 2%
- Original transaction fees are not refunded even when payment is canceled
All fees are exclusive of 10% VAT.
When Settlement Becomes Available
1. VOD Content
- Buyer confirms purchase
- 7 days (168 hours) have passed after the buyer finishes viewing
- The play button has been clicked for all videos
- 14 days (336 hours) have passed after purchase even if the buyer did not watch
2. LIVE Content
- Buyer confirms purchase
- 7 days (168 hours) have passed after the LIVE session ends (based on option end date)
- LIVE start/end buttons were clicked normally and recorded
- Start button is enabled from 30 minutes before the option start time
- End button is enabled until 30 minutes after the option end time
- If both start and end buttons are not properly clicked, settlement is not available
3. Offline Content
- Buyer confirms purchase
- 7 days (168 hours) have passed after the offline activity ends (based on option end date)
- Offline start/end buttons were clicked normally and recorded
- Start button is enabled from 30 minutes before the option start time
- End button is enabled until 30 minutes after the option end time
- If both start and end buttons are not properly clicked, settlement is not available
4. Downloadable Content
- Buyer confirms purchase
- 7 days (168 hours) have passed after download completion
- 14 days (336 hours) have passed without download
5. Membership Products
- 30 days have passed after membership payment
6. Shipping Products
- Buyer confirms purchase
- 7 days (168 hours) have passed after buyer receives the product
- If receipt cannot be confirmed due to system issues, 14 days (336 hours) have passed from shipping date
- For direct shipping, 7 days (168 hours) have passed after seller marks delivery complete
- For direct shipping, 14 days (336 hours) have passed even if delivery complete was not marked
- For no-shipping products, if buyer does not confirm purchase, automatic settlement is not processed even after 14 days
Reasons Settlement May Be Put On Hold
- Buyer objections and requests: exchange, return, refund, non-delivery, or wrong delivery issues remain unresolved
- Seller misconduct: suspected fake listings, quality non-compliance, or intellectual property infringement
- Violation of social norms: unethical or illegal sales behavior is identified
- Disputes: legal or mediation review is in progress between seller and buyer
- Missing documents or inaccurate information: required settlement documents are incomplete
- Inventory or logistics issues: stock shortage or shipping delay causes buyer damage
- Legal/regulatory compliance: violations of applicable laws or requests from authorities
- Accounting/tax audit: issues found during internal or external audits
- Alternative handling during system or delivery failures: settlement can be held for a defined period (for example, 60 days from shipping date)
- Refund/cancellation in progress: settlement is held until refund or cancellation is fully completed
- Claims filed by buyers: settlement is held until the claim is resolved
